We've determined that the script is of an acceptable quality at this point. We're currently finishing up the last of the graphics, after which some of the team members (including myself) will be doing a play through of the translated game to fix any glitches/typos/crashes or anything else wrong with the patch. I'm not going to say a specific date, but don't worry it will be very soon!

ReplyDeleteAs much as I can't wait to play it, please don't rush it. Playing through the released patch of Captain Rainbow at the moment, and it's painful to see bits of really bad English, grammatically wrong sentences or even parts of the game that just aren't translated at all. Release it only when it's really done please, I think the game deserves it, and you guys will deserve the praise when all is said and done.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, we're confident with how everything is. A bunch of us will be doing playtesting before the first release to catch any lingering mistakes or errors, so the patch should be all set after that.
DeleteThat being said, we'll certainly continue to support the patch after it's released since there's bound to be something that we miss, nobody's perfect :D
